5121: A Practical Guide to Improvisation

Here are a few simple minor > dom progressions that are now well established on my practise list.
I sometimes like to approach a minor chord with another minor chord. This process generates a pleasing resolution in itself before the next resolution to the dominant chord.   [ Once there we can decide how to progress to the major chord ]
Of course, we can approach a minor chord with a major, dominant or a diminished chord. This is discussed in my other books:  'Approach Chords', '251' and 'Alternating Quality'
